Horses often develop a “hay belly” if given enough food. This is not fat, but a classic gas symptom. Horses produce a lot of gas, which is why they fart a lot! While I can’t speak for you, horses are big enough that I don’t want to be there when they fart!
People who watch the video can’t seem to get enough of this goofy animal! There were many cheeky comments, including this one: “Never been a big fan of Kick and Run, but this was executed to perfection. I’m no longer an unbeliever.”

Numerous studies have shown that there may be a connection between dogs and horses. They can interact by copying each other’s behavior when playing together. On the hunt and on the farm, horses and dogs have demonstrated their ability to work together.
They are both sociable companion animals and as long as they are polite and well-behaved, they should be fine. Another thing is true – both of these animals beep loudly!
We couldn’t resist rewatching this video over and over because it was so hilarious. One comment reads, “The part where the horse kicks the tree, farts at the dog, and then runs away is my favorite part of the video. Definitely cinematic.”
While another said, “Sometimes it’s impossible not to be overwhelmed by the majesty of nature. ” Reading the comments on this Youtube upload is as much fun as a farting galloping horse! Taking a closer look at the horse’s behavior, it’s kicking the tree while running for a reason!
Horse kicks are the most basic defensive tool. In the wild, horses have been known to thump with their hooves to ward off potential predators. Because it’s instinctive, even the calmest and most obedient horse may act out depending on the situation.

I am broadly interested in how human activities influence the ability of wildlife to persist in the modified environments that we create.
Specifically, my research investigates how the configuration and composition of landscapes influence the movement and population dynamics of forest birds. Both natural and human-derived fragmenting of habitat can influence where birds settle, how they access the resources they need to survive and reproduce, and these factors in turn affect population demographics. Most recently, I have been studying the ability of individuals to move through and utilize forested areas which have been modified through timber harvest as they seek out resources for the breeding and postfledging phases. As well I am working in collaboration with Parks Canada scientists to examine in the influence of high density moose populations on forest bird communities in Gros Morne National Park. Many of my projects are conducted in collaboration or consultation with representatives of industry and government agencies, seeking to improve the management and sustainability of natural resource extraction.
