apart from the price of game tickets, fans must pay for parking and food from the concession stands and possibly a game program. It adds up .
Single-game tickets are barely. As of this writing, a few are available immediately from the Eagles ’ tag function via Ticketmaster. And on top of that, fans driving to the bet on might pay $ 40 to park. If they spend time tailgate in the parking draw they should expect to spend $ 50 per person for assorted refreshments, not to mention the cost of food beverages, or souvenirs purchased inside the build up ( fans may not bring food inside with them ) .
Add it all up, and a fan attending an Eagles base game might expect to spend in the neighborhood of $ 300 for the feel which might include spending respective hours outdoors in inclement weather surrounded by fans who may not constantly be on their best behavior, to say the least .
For some, the experience is no longer worth it.
Gordon Glantz of Blue Bell has Eagles blood running through his veins ; his family has had season tickets since he was born. This temper he spent $ 3,066 for two season tickets that include 10 games ( this year nine regular temper plus one preseason ). He ’ five hundred pluck up some guys who lived close up by and we ’ d inactive be at the stadium and in our seats well before kickoff. now it ’ s a full day. If you don ’ t leave by 10 ante meridiem, it ’ s a problem because of parking and traffic. It ’ sulfur no longer a bet on. It ’ s an event. You don ’ t get home until 6-6:30 post meridiem Used to be 5-5:30 p.m .
“ And forget about the night games. I stopped going to those well before the 1 post meridiem games. There was once parking at the stadium for a reasonable rate. My dad soon started parking at a nearby church for a reasonable rate that had better access for the getaway after the game. therefore many spots are taken up by people tailgating. ”

I am broadly interested in how human activities influence the ability of wildlife to persist in the modified environments that we create.
Specifically, my research investigates how the configuration and composition of landscapes influence the movement and population dynamics of forest birds. Both natural and human-derived fragmenting of habitat can influence where birds settle, how they access the resources they need to survive and reproduce, and these factors in turn affect population demographics. Most recently, I have been studying the ability of individuals to move through and utilize forested areas which have been modified through timber harvest as they seek out resources for the breeding and postfledging phases. As well I am working in collaboration with Parks Canada scientists to examine in the influence of high density moose populations on forest bird communities in Gros Morne National Park. Many of my projects are conducted in collaboration or consultation with representatives of industry and government agencies, seeking to improve the management and sustainability of natural resource extraction.
